FramedI spent some of the happiest days in Paris in the Café du Dome. In fact, I had many friends who probably say the same thing; there is no place in the world like the Café du Dome at 8 o’clock in the evening. I didn’t drink much, but I joined in all the rip-roaring conversations about art and poetry and literature. I can never have those days again because now I am older and have gone elsewhere. Some of us became successful while others have been forgotten. I guess the key element is remembering because none of us can go back and rebuild the times that are gone.
