Mr. Deeds Goes to Town

Richard H. Love Mr. Deeds Goes to Town, 1992 Oil on Canvas 28 x 28 Inches Signed Verso Framed

This is one of my favorite paintings. I even picked out a frame to match the limited color arrangement I had planned for the painting. I was going to finish it but was fascinated by the graphite sketch which still shows. So, I decided to leave it as it was. Obviously the figures are the director Frank Capra and one of Hollywood’s greatest, Gary Cooper, getting ready to shoot a scene in the famous move, “Mr. Deeds Goes to Town”.
