Should she have done it? Why would she knowingly abandon everything when she knew she would have to pay the price. Her husband is tilling the deep black earth to provide food for them. The animals, including the ones from the jungle, are waiting to see what she will do, now that she has the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge in her belly. It is strange but she has admitted her loneliness. How often she has looked back and wished that she had obeyed.
